Say and tell have similar meanings. They both mean to communicate verbally with someone. But we often use them differently.

The simple way to think of say and tell is:

You say something
You tell someone something

يعني مع tell نذكر مع من نتكلم ببساطة

Also, we have distinguish & distinction

have a same meaning

(comparing between 2 things)

for example:

we make distinction between female & male employees.

we can distinguish between female & male employees.

UN is an abbreviation.. read it as single letter U N
Acronym is also has the same meaning as abbreviation, but
NATO is acronym because we read it as a word.
